Overview
Aizyne Vault is a Windows application for keeping records and document attachments in a local encrypted vault. This policy explains what the app accesses, where information is kept, when information can leave the vault and the choices available to you.
Aizyne Group operates Aizyne Vault. The application does not send vault content to an Aizyne account, cloud service, advertising service or analytics service. Aizyne Group does not receive your master passphrase or recovery material and cannot reset or recover them for you.
Information you choose to store
Aizyne Vault accesses the information you enter or import, including record titles, fields, tags, collections, reminders, previous versions and document attachments. Depending on how you use the app, this may include personal or highly sensitive information.
Vault content is stored locally on your Windows device in an encrypted vault. Your master passphrase protects access. If you configure Windows Hello, it provides a convenient device-bound unlock route; it does not replace your master passphrase, recovery material or separate backups.
Encryption protects the stored vault while it is locked. When the vault is unlocked, information is available to the running app and may also be exposed to someone controlling the device, malware, screen-capture tools or other software with sufficient access. File existence, size and some format information may be visible without unlocking.
Backups, attachments, imports and exports
Encrypted backups, portable encrypted copies and readable exports are created only through actions you choose. Files saved in a folder you select remain there until you remove them. If you choose a cloud-synchronised folder, that provider may copy the file under its own terms and privacy policy.
Files imported as encrypted attachments remain unchanged at their original location. Aizyne Vault does not retain the original source path. Exporting an attachment creates a readable copy in a folder you choose. Opening an exported file in another application may create caches or additional copies outside Aizyne Vault.
Older encrypted backups and previous vault generations may retain information that you later change or remove from the current vault.
Clipboard
When you choose to copy a value, Aizyne Vault asks Windows to exclude it from clipboard history and device syncing. The app attempts to clear its copy after the interval you select, but only while the clipboard still contains that same copy. Other applications can read clipboard content before it is cleared, and clearing cannot recall a value that was already pasted or captured elsewhere.
Reminders and Windows features
If you enable reminders, Windows receives the scheduled time and an opaque identifier needed to manage the notification. Notification text is generic and does not contain record titles, reminder descriptions or vault values. Windows controls notification scheduling, delivery and history under Microsoft's terms and your Windows settings.
Windows also manages application installation, Store updates, package identity, Windows Hello and operating-system diagnostics. These services may process device or account information independently of Aizyne Vault. Refer to Microsoft's privacy information and your Windows privacy settings for those activities.
Support
Aizyne Vault prepares a value-minimised support summary locally only when you request it. It may include the selected help topic, app version, Windows build, device architecture, launch mode and fixed troubleshooting guidance. It is copied only when you choose and is not sent automatically.
Never send a master passphrase, recovery key, vault file, record value, readable export, unredacted screenshot or other secret to support. Website and support messages are handled as described in the Aizyne Group website privacy notice. Our hosting and email providers process messages only to operate those services. Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage necessary follow-up, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
You decide what to place in the vault and when to create backups, exports or portable copies. You can edit records, move them to the in-app recycle bin and permanently delete them from the current vault. Copies in older backups, previous generations, exported files, clipboard captures or other applications must be removed separately.
You can remove the application through Windows. Uninstalling may not remove user-selected backups, exports or other copies, and ordinary deletion should not be treated as secure erasure. Follow the current support guidance before uninstalling if you need to preserve or remove data.
Disclosure, sale and children
The application does not sell vault information, use it for advertising or disclose vault content to Aizyne-operated third parties. Information leaves the encrypted vault only through actions you choose, the operating-system facilities described above, or access by software or people controlling your device.
Aizyne Vault is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children. Do not use it in a way that violates applicable laws concerning children's personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when the app's behaviour or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
